Barcelona winger Raphinha is set to sign a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2030, sporting director Deco confirmed on Saturday.
Speaking at Barcelona’s general assembly, Deco said negotiations over the Brazilian’s renewal were at an advanced stage and that the 29-year-old was expected to remain with the club for the next four years.
Raphinha has made a strong start to the season, scoring nine goals in six La Liga matches while being used in a central attacking role.

“Raphinha’s renewal is quite advanced... Rafa will be with us for the next four years,” Deco said.
The Barcelona sporting director also revealed that youngsters Xavi Espart and Marc Bernal are expected to sign new contracts in the coming days.
“They are three players who we’ve got sorted for renewals in the last week,” Deco added.
Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022 and has since become an important part of the side, particularly following Hansi Flick’s appointment as head coach in 2024.
