Juma Jux Explains Why He Does Not Advise Diamond Platnumz on Love Matters

Translate

Juma Jux has explained why he prefers not to advise his close friend Diamond Platnumz on matters concerning his romantic relationships.

Speaking during an interview on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Jux was asked whether he ever advises Diamond about his love life, particularly amid the intense public interest surrounding the singer’s relationships.

Jux said he prefers to respect Diamond’s privacy and believes romantic matters are personal issues that friends should not necessarily interfere with.

“I don’t believe in advising someone about love matters. Even I am difficult to advise when it comes to relationships,” Jux said.

He explained that their friendship allows them to remain close without necessarily discussing every aspect of their private lives.

“Those things are personal. I can’t get into his love life. Even my relationship with him, it’s just us being ourselves, asking if the family is good. But I can’t advise anyone when it comes to love, because even I don’t think there is anyone who can advise me in terms of love. I just put boundaries,” he added.

Jux and Diamond’s close friendship

Jux and Diamond have maintained a close friendship for years, with their bond extending beyond their musical careers.

The two have collaborated on several projects and have continued to support each other outside the music industry.

Their friendship was highlighted again last month when Jux reopened his African Boy fashion store after it was looted during unrest in Tanzania.

During the reopening, Jux revealed that Diamond had allowed him to use his image to promote the fashion brand without charging him.

Jux described the gesture as evidence of a relationship that goes beyond ordinary friendship, referring to Diamond as his “brother” and “real family”.

Diamond also attended the reopening, further underscoring the close relationship between the two artistes.

Diamond and Zuchu’s relationship

Jux’s remarks come as Diamond’s romantic life continues to attract considerable public attention.

Diamond and singer Zuchu were the subject of widespread speculation for years before confirming their marriage in 2025. Their relationship has since faced periods of public scrutiny, including reports of disagreements and separation.

In July 2026, Zuchu announced that she and Diamond had separated and were going through a divorce after six years together.

She said she wanted to focus on healing, her health and her music career while wishing Diamond and his family well.

However, interest in their relationship has continued.

On October 3, 2026, Zuchu spoke about her relationship with Diamond and said the birth of their daughter had changed the nature of their bond.

She explained that they had moved beyond simply being romantic partners and had become parents and family.

Her comments added another layer to the ongoing public conversation surrounding the couple as fans continue to follow developments in their relationship.

Why Jux keeps his distance

For Jux, being close to Diamond does not necessarily mean having a say in his personal decisions.

The singer said he believes people should be allowed to handle their own relationships and make personal choices without friends constantly stepping in.

His position also reflects the boundaries he maintains around his own romantic life.

Jux is married to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, and the couple has a son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala.
