Severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours, strong damaging winds and hail are expected across parts of Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).

Isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers are forecast for the eastern parts of the country, with morning fog expected along the escarpment in Mpumalanga and Limpopo. The Western Cape will experience fine and cool conditions, while the Eastern Cape can expect cloudy and cold weather with isolated showers in places.
