Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake Freebie Officially Available Now

The announcement of the Ocarina of Time Remake as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for The Legend of Zelda as a franchise, really did feel like something of a full circle moment for fans. The graphics have been updated, but we will have to wait and see if the magic is still there when it drops in November.

Ahead of its release, Nintendo has been dialing up several areas of its launch plan to make things exciting in the run-up to the big day. Some of that entails revealing new features and elements of the Remake that players can look forward to, but the fun isn't stopping there, and arguably the best way to get yourself in the mood to play it is finally here, and at no extra cost.

Ocarina Of Time Debuts On Nintendo Music

If you count yourself among the many folks currently subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online, you can finally access the soundtrack for the Nintendo Switch 2 release of Ocarina of Time (as first reported by GoNintendo). The original version of the game was chock-full of memorable tracks, and this latest version leans further into the orchestral to make it more epic than ever.

As with everything else available on the service, it comes at no extra cost to those who are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online. That also allows you to listen while traveling, making it a great alternative to other musical services that don't have the songs from your favorite childhood games.

Not only that, but Nintendo also released a statement confirming a series of exciting events designed to bring the game to life further. The post reads as follows:

"The anniversary extends to special events and experiences, as well. The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert series will be held across the globe next year and include a variety of music from The Legend of Zelda series, from nostalgic tunes to modern melodies. A Japan tour kicks off in Tokyo next January, a North American tour starts in Chicago next February, a European tour begins in London next April, and an Australian tour starts in Melbourne next May."

Tickets for the above aren't available just yet, though you will inevitably have to move quickly to get your hands on them when they are. Just keep an eye out for Nintendo official announcements for the release dates for your region.

Not Long To Go Now

The Ocarina of Time Remake is set to debut on November 5, just two weeks before GTA VI makes its bow. It remains one of the very few games that is willing to take on Rockstar in relatively close proximity, though beating it to market will certainly help Nintendo to avoid the worst of its negative effects.
