內地旅客攜未完稅香煙入境 判監四個月及罰款二千元

​一名旅客攜帶約9000支未完稅香煙入境，未有向海關人員申報，違反《應課稅品條例》，在西九龍裁判法院被判處監禁4個月和罰款2000元。 關員昨日在機場截查一名45歲，從阿聯酋迪拜飛抵本港的內地男旅客，並在他攜帶的個人行李內檢獲未完稅香煙，估計市值約4萬元，應課稅值約3萬元，他隨即被捕。 海關歡迎判刑，表示監禁判刑具相當阻嚇作用，充分反映罪行的嚴重性。 編輯：譚佩貞
