Euromatch NPFL: Kolimba Vows Tornadoes Will Down Kun Khalifat In Minna
Niger Tornadoes goalkeeper Alladoum Kolimba has challenged his teammates to fight for maximum points when they face Kun Khalifat FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, on Sunday.
The Ikon Allah Boys are currently without a win in their last five league matches and will be looking to end the barren run with victory in the crucial encounter.
Kolimba, who recently returned from international duty, urged his teammates to remain focused and determined as they prepare for the fixture.
“We will not take the game for granted. We must fight and work hard to achieve the maximum points,” Kolimba told the club’s media.

Tornadoes were held to a draw by Kun Khalifat in their previous meeting last season. Abba Khalid put the hosts ahead before the visitors fought back to secure a share of the spoils.
Sunday’s encounter will be the third meeting between the two sides, with Niger Tornadoes still searching for their first victory over Kun Khalifat. The Ikon Allah Boys suffered a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture last season.
The Minna club have also received a boost ahead of the encounter with the return of Akabe Hannafi, who has recovered ahead of schedule after missing last week’s trip to Lafia.
The successful registration of Joseph Bulus and Daniel Hussaini has further strengthened the squad, giving the technical crew more options ahead of the crucial fixture.
