Trump offers US$1mil reward for voter fraud reports ahead of midterm elections

Translate

WASHNIGTON: US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he plans to pay US$1 million (RM4.09 million) to anyone reporting voter fraud in past elections or the upcoming midterm elections on Nov 3, provided the information leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible, Anadolu Ajansi reported.

"Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid US$1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!" Trump said on Truth Social.

The announcement comes as the US prepares to hold midterm elections next week, with voters set to decide which party controls Congress amid heightened political disputes over election integrity. — BERNAMA
