Calling the actor “supremely talented and gifted” and their collaboration “inspirational”, Rampal shared pictures with Mohanlal from the upcoming Vishnu Mohan directorial, which is based on India’s evacuation mission during the Russia-Ukraine war.

'Operation Ganga' is directed by Vishnu Mohan and revolves around the real-life evacuation mission undertaken by the Indian government to bring Indian citizens, including thousands of students, back from Ukraine after the Russia-Ukraine war broke out.

Mohanlal shared the film’s announcement on Instagram earlier this month, posting its title and first promotional material. The project brings together a cast led by the Malayalam star and also features Arjun Rampal,

Adil Hussain

, among others.The film is being produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies.

Vishnu Mohan is directing 'Operation Ganga', with Gokulam Gopalan producing the film for Sree Gokulam Movies.

Shashwat Sachdev is composing the music, while Shameer Mohammed is handling the editing. Krishnamoorthy serves as the executive producer.The makers are yet to announce further details about the film’s release date and its complete cast and character lineup.

Mohanlal continues to have a busy slate following his recent appearances in 'Drishyam 3' and 'Thudakkam'. The actor’s collaboration with Rampal in 'Operation Ganga' adds another major project to his upcoming lineup. Rampal, meanwhile, was last seen in 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'.
