Mastercard (MA) (MA:CA) on Thursday announced the launch of Mastercard Global Money Platform, along with the subsidiary BVNK.
MA shares were 0.79% higher at $608.00 during pre-market trading.
The platform provides a full-stack, modular infrastructure layer for modern finance.
Mastercard Global Money brings together Mastercard's global payments capabilities and BVNK's stablecoin infrastructure through a single API, launching the first major integration of the companies.
Payments firm Nuvei and modern card issuing platform Marqeta (MQ) will be among the first to integrate Global Money Platform, alongside Ontop, Beem, and Almond FinTech.
