Lainey Wilson, Brandon Lake, Amy Grant, Natalie Grant, Elevation Worship & More Added To GMA Dove Awards Lineup

The final round of performers for the upcoming 57th annual GMA Dove Awards includes Brandon Lake with Lainey Wilson, Tye Tribbett, Hope Darst and Elevation Worship, reflecting this year’s theme, “Together For One,” performing from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

This year’s show will also feature Natalie Grant and Amy Grant together for the first time on stage, to lead a special tribute to the late Dolly Parton, who passed away Aug. 25 at age 80. Parton, a 2009 GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, was nominated for and won GMA Dove Awards over the course of her career, including a 2005 nomination for country recorded song of the year, for her collaboration with Brad Paisley on “When I Get Where I’m Going.” Heading into this year’s awards ceremony, the late Parton is again nominated, this year in the bluegrass recorded song of the year category, for the song “Broken Angels” with The Grascals.

New additions to the presenters lineup include Christine D’Clario, Chris Tomlin, Cory Asbury, Hezekiah Walker, Jenn Johnson, Marvin Sapp, Shawn Johnson East and from The Chosen George H. Xanthis and Paras Patel.

The 57th annual GMA Dove Awards are presented in partnership with the Cantinas Arts Foundation and will be held Oct. 6 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Singer-songwriter Tauren Wells will host the ceremony for a fourth consecutive year.

Earlier this year, Lake and Wilson recently teamed up to record the collaboration “The Jesus I Know Now,” which is nominated this year in the country/roots recorded song of the year category. Meanwhile, Lake is also nominated in several categories including artist of the year, pop/contemporary album of the year (King of Hearts), song of the year and songwriter of the year (artist).

Elevation Worship recently earned its Billboard Hot 100 chart breakthrough, with the Chandler Moore collaboration “God I’m Just Grateful.” The song is nominated for the GMA Dove Awards’ song of the year and worship recorded song of the year accolades. The group’s album So Be It (Live) is nominated for worship album of the year.

Tribbett’s “Yahweh Flow” is nominated in the gospel worship recorded song of the year. The song features Jocelyn Bowman, D’nar Young, Jewell Jones and Jalisa Faye. Tribbett’s project Only On The Road (Live) is also up for contemporary gospel album of the year.

Darst’s “Might Name of Jesus” is up for worship recorded song of the year.

The ceremony will broadcast exclusively on TBN and the TBN+ app on Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET. The ceremony will also be simulcast on SiriusXM The Message. An encore presentation is set to air on TBN and the TBN+ app on Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.

The 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards are produced by the Gospel Music Association in partnership with TPR. The Gospel Music Association has served the Christian music community since 1964.
