Headmaster under probe for alleged sexual harassment

The headmaster of a vernacular school in Teluk Intan, Perak, is being investigated by education authorities for allegedly sexually harassing a Form 3 student.
In a post on Threads, education minister Fadhlina Sidek said she has ordered the Perak education department to investigate the allegations.
“The headmaster involved has also been temporarily moved to the Bagan Datuk district education office pending the completion of the investigation,” she said.
The headmaster is alleged to have harassed the student through text messages, resulting in one of the girl’s parents confronting him at the school.
