Barcelona Femini suffered its first defeat in nearly a year as Real Sociedad came from behind to claim a 2-1 Liga F victory at Zubieta on Sunday.
Patri Guijarro put Barcelona ahead inside the opening minute, but Cecilia Marcos equalised before Ainhoa Marin completed a memorable comeback for the Basque side.
The defeat ended Barcelona’s 45-game unbeaten run and was its first in 350 days, since a 0-1 loss to the same opponent last November.

Barcelona lost only once last season as it swept the Champions League, Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Spanish Super Cup, while Sunday’s setback was its first of the current campaign.
The side remains at the top of Liga F with 18 points, two ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, which beat Espanyol 3-1 on Saturday.
