As the fourth quarter of 2026 begins, the real estate sector enters the final stretch of a year shaped by changing interest-rate expectations, evolving property demand and continued investment across residential, commercial, health care and industrial real estate.

At the same time, real estate companies and REITs are navigating financing costs, occupancy trends, property valuations and shifting demand across different segments, creating a varied backdrop for growth-focused investors.

Against this environment, the following list highlights seven real estate stocks spanning real estate services, health care REITs, retail REITs, real estate operating companies, specialized REITs and industrial REITs. The group includes companies with strong growth characteristics across several areas of the property market.

Importantly, all seven stocks on the list carry an A+ Growth Grade, the highest rating in the growth-grade framework.

Compass (COMP), CareTrust REIT (CTRE), Curbline Properties (CURB), LandBridge Company (LB) and Millrose Properties (MRP) are among the names highlighted, while Terreno Realty (TRNO) and Welltower (WELL) also carry the top-tier grade. Welltower leads the group by market capitalization at $162.73B, while CareTrust REIT stands out with the highest Quant Rating at Strong Buy 4.87.

Other notable companies by market capitalization include CareTrust REIT at $8.64B, Compass at $7.04B, Terreno Realty at $7.00B and LandBridge Company at $6.60B.

The Growth Grade is a quantitative assessment used to evaluate a company's growth prospects and expansion trajectory. The metric incorporates multiple growth-related indicators to assess how effectively a company is scaling its operations relative to sector peers.

Growth Grades range from A+ to F, with A+ representing exceptional growth characteristics and the highest possible rating, while lower grades indicate more moderate expansion prospects or potential headwinds.

Here is the list:

  1. Compass, Inc. (COMP) — Growth Grade: A+

  2. CareTrust REIT, Inc. (CTRE) — Growth Grade: A+

  3. Curbline Properties Corp. (CURB) — Growth Grade: A+

  4. LandBridge Company LLC (LB) — Growth Grade: A+

  5. Millrose Properties, Inc. (MRP) — Growth Grade: A+

  6. Terreno Realty Corporation (TRNO) — Growth Grade: A+
