Dijon and Mk.gee Are a Wedding Band Now

Translate

Dijon and Mk.gee have been tight friends and collaborators for a minute now, but the duo took their relationship to the next level over the weekend: they formed a wedding band. The nuptials of Jack Karaszewski and Danica Kleinknecht occasioned the big debut. The duo busted out some killer covers, including Big Star's “Thirteen” (for the first dance), Wings’ “Let Me Roll It,” and Cat Stevens’ “Trouble.” Check out some videos from their performance below.

Rounding out the onstage lineup were Paul Dally, Henry Kwapis, and Parker and Marshall Mulherin, all of whom have made music with Dijon in the past. Katie Pearlman of the recently established supergroup Tommy also jumped on vocals for a few songs.

Outside of serenading a happy new couple, Dijon and Mk.gee have been keeping relatively low profiles. They played together during Dijon’s Coachella debut earlier this year, where he performed a lot of tracks from his 2025 album Baby. Mk.gee released his most recent record, Two Star & the Dream Police, in 2024.
