Hailey Bieber Debuts Her Darkest Hair Color in Over a Decade

Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber Celebrate 8th Anniversary With Down to Earth Date Night

Hailey Bieber is on the rhode to a new look.

After all, the Rhode Beauty founder ditched her signature light brown locks for her darkest hair color in more than ten years. And the transformation came right in time for fall.

Bieber’s trusted hairstylist Irinel de León showed off the model’s autumnal makeover in a September 19 Instagram post, where Bieber debuted her new deep chocolate-colored ‘do as she gave the camera a glossy pout.

Though de León noted she was behind the 29-year-old’s “fresh cut & style,” it was celebrity colorist Matt Rez who took Bieber’s locks from a highlighted brunette to a vampy brown.

But it wouldn’t be the first time that Bieber—mom to Jack, 2, with husband Justin Bieber—has undergone a hair transformation.

After all, she shocked fans with an icy blonde bob in March, seemingly tucking her caramel locks under a wig.

And while she’s made subtle color changes to her hair over the years, the last time her tresses went super dark was in 2015, when she stepped out at the Met Gala in a blue mini dress to emphasize the beauty look.

But last year, Bieber bonded with a fellow new mom on TikTok who decided she wanted to cut her locks just like the beauty guru.

While flattered by the acknowledgement, Bieber shared that even she would be taking a break from any beauty changeups following the birth of her son.

“You would look stunning,” Bieber commented under the post, “but let’s hold hands and agree to not make any big hair decisions post partum! Personally giving myself at least a year!”

And while Bieber has become known for her trend-making beauty looks, she previously shared insight into her core philosophy when it comes to her appearance.

“There is always a balance, of course, and I'm sure my philosophy will continue to evolve,” she told People in 2022. “It might be completely different in another five years—and even more different the five after that. But right now, for me, less is definitely more.”
