Kid Rock shows off massive elk harvest on Instagram while joking about missing the election

Kid Rock harvested an incredible elk, and poked some fun at the state of politics in America in the process.

The popular musician is known for never holding back when it comes to social media, his beliefs or saying what's on his mind at any given time.

His authenticity is one of the major reasons he's built such an incredible following over the past decades.

That includes his love for the outdoors and politics....and he's now managed to combine the two.

Kid Rock kills massive elk.

The "American Bad Ass" singer hopped on Instagram on Thursday to show off an outstanding elk that he killed in an unnamed location.

He also couldn't pass up an opportunity to touch on Democrats boat-racing the Republicans in the election.

"What happened? Was there an election or something? I have been off the grid," Kid Rock joked in the caption.
