Game of Thrones fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months, with the newest season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on the way in 2027 and the final season of House of the Dragon following soon after. Further, with the Aegon's Conquest film in the works and The Mad King stage play getting new showtimes in London in 2027, George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire universe is as alive as it has ever been.

In addition to all these exciting projects, Game of Thrones is also making an official return in 2027 with War for Westeros, a brand-new real-time strategy game putting players in the heart of the action. The game features iconic characters from the original series such as Jaime Lannister, Jon Snow, and Robb Stark, and will even let players take on the role of the Night King controlling the army of wights against the realm.

However, fans have much more to look forward to this month thanks to a major update and the announcement of Game of Thrones: Quenched Flames, arriving to Conquest on September 14.

Quenched Flames is an exciting new addition to the Game of Thrones: Conquest - Dragonseeds seasonal arc for September, running for a limited time on September 14 to September 16. It's a PvE Rally event, which tasks players with banding together alongside members of their Allegiance to take down especially powerful creatures.

Unlike standard PvE encounters, Rally Event Creatures are designed to be tackled cooperatively in raid style, with one player initiating the rally and teammates contributing their own marches before the combined force attacks. These enemies are considerably tougher than ordinary creatures, but successful participants each receive a full share of the rewards, making rallies a useful way for players to tackle higher-level targets than they might be able to defeat alone.

Quenched Flames is just one part of the larger Dragonseeds seasonal arc, which runs from September 1 through September 25 and takes its inspiration from Rhaenyra Targaryen's search for new dragonriders during the Dance of the Dragons. The month-long event introduces the new Dragonseed Gear Set, which is focused on Cavalry combat, alongside new heroes Alys Rivers and Hugh Hammer.

Players can also obtain the latest piece of the Ever-Ready Warrior Dragon Gear Set, the Saddle, which provides bonuses including Dragon Attack, troop health, marching speed, and Dragon Infantry Attack against Seats of Power.

The arc is spread across several smaller events throughout September. Following The Blood of the Dragon, A Bond Never Forged, and the first Recipe event, Of Fire and Blood, players can participate in Of Salt and Sea and The Red Sowing from September 9–11. Quenched Flames follows from September 14–16, before the Dragonseeds storyline concludes with the second Arc Recipe event, A Tale of the Tavern, running September 22–24.
