Nigeria XI vs Guinea Bissau: Awoniyi, Lookman, Adams lead Super Eagles attack

Taiwo Awoniyi, Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams will lead Nigeria’s attack as the Super Eagles take on Guinea-Bissau in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture on Tuesday.

Stanley Nwabali starts in goal, with Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and Bruno Onyemaechi forming the defensive line.

Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka are in midfield, while Alex Iwobi completes the midfield trio.

Lookman, Awoniyi and Adams will spearhead the Super Eagles’ attack as Nigeria seek another victory in the qualifying campaign.

Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau both head into Tuesday’s encounter on the back of victories in their opening-round fixtures.

The meeting in Bissau is particularly important because Tanzania, as one of the co-hosts of AFCON 2027, automatically occupies one of the qualification places, leaving only one ticket available from Group L.

Both sides will therefore be looking to strengthen their position in the group with another positive result.
