Bauchi APC group pledges 10 million votes for Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress support group, operating under the aegis of the President Bola Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement, has pledged to mobilise 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

The Coordinator of the movement in Bauchi State, Mohammed Auwalu, gave the assurance on Thursday, during a courtesy and notification visit to the APC state secretariat.

Auwalu said the visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration with the party leadership, appreciating its support and formally notifying it of the group’s door-to-door mobilisation activities ahead of the 2027 elections.

He said the movement would adopt grassroots mobilisation, one-on-one engagements and tête-à-tête discussions to reach voters and reconcile different interests towards achieving a common political goal.

According to him, the President Bola Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement was founded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, with a focus on inclusiveness and grassroots mobilisation.

Auwalu said the group is committed to contributing to the mobilisation of 10 million votes for Tinubu, stressing that its slogan, “Every Door Matters,” reflected its determination to engage Nigerians at the grassroots.

He added that members of the movement visited the Bauchi APC secretariat to explore areas of collaboration and discuss strategies for mobilising support for the President ahead of the election.

“With the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement, the assurance of 10 million votes is achievable because the movement is for everybody.

“That is why we knock on every door, because every door matters,” he said.

The coordinator pointed out that the movement is committed to patience, extensive consultation and coordinated engagement among party members and support groups to achieve its electoral target.

Responding on behalf of the Bauchi State Working Committee, the state APC Chairman, Muhammad Tilde, described the visit as a welcome development.

Tilde, while also appreciating the leadership of the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement for the visit, assured the delegation that the party would continue to collaborate with groups and stakeholders committed to strengthening the APC and advancing its electoral prospects.

He assured the group members that the movement would be carried along in relevant party activities and mobilisation efforts.

Meanwhile, the APC chairman insisted that unity, cooperation and the collective contributions of committed party members and support groups would be crucial to the party’s success in the 2027 general election.
