Fans left devastated by the cancellation of Prime Video's fantasy series The Wheel of Time will now be able to own a key part of the show, as Sony Pictures Television, in association with Propstore, has announced a massive auction of original props, costumes and production pieces from the show.

The online action will be made up of over 250 items, with each lot starting at £100 and bidding running from 12 October to 28 October.

Highlights from the selection set to be auctioned include Rand al’Thor’s Heron-Mark Sword, Scabbard and Case, Mat Cauthon’s Ruby-Hilted Shadar Logoth Dagger in Sheath, Moiraine Damodred’s Stab Wound Costume, Hero Horn of Valere with Horn Box and Egwene al’Vere’s Damane Costume.

The auction is online-only and is now live for bidding, with the complete auction catalog available via propstore.com/wheeloftime.

Those who register for the auction will also be automatically entered for a free chance to win a Sakarnen sa’angreal and a Brown Ajah Great Serpent Ring, with one winner set to receive both pieces. No purchase is necessary to enter that competition.

Stephen Lane, founder and CEO of Propstore, said in a statement: "The Wheel of Time created an incredibly rich world on screen, with an extraordinary level of craftsmanship across its props, costumes and characters.

"Propstore is thrilled to be working with Sony Pictures Television to bring more than 250 original pieces from that world to auction for the first time. With every lot starting at £100, this is a rare opportunity for fans and collectors around the world to own a piece of the series and become part of its legacy."

The Wheel of Time, which was based on the beloved novels by Robert Jordan, was cancelled last year after three seasons, with star Rosamund Pike saying that while she agreed with fans that season 1 "wasn't good enough", by season 3, "there was a really well-acted, well-written, cohesive, deep show that was attracting powerhouse actors to come and play supporting characters".

Speculating about why the series was cancelled despite its passionate fanbase, she told to Collider: "I think we're possibly victims to the terrible churn factor of people wanting to show that ‘We've got a new show.’ It's all about what's new."

The Wheel of Time seasons 1-3 are available to stream on Prime Video.
