India's men's badminton team, which has already assured itself of a medal after beating Japan in the quarterfinals, will face China in the semifinal. Lakshya Sen, Ayush Shetty, HS Prannoy, Kidambi Srikanth, Tharun Mannepalli and the doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are part of India's squad for the tie.

India defeated Sri Lanka by 147 runs in the women's cricket final in what was a rematch of the Hangzhou 2022 final. Batting first, India rode a sensational 79 from opener Smriti Mandhana to post 216 for 3. Mandhana and Shafali Verma (48) set a fiery tempo early on, dismantling the Sri Lankan attack in a 99-run opening stand.
