Two men and two women have been charged in connection with a house fire in Cobden in February.

Earlier this month, police released CCTV footage showing the moments before flames engulfed the south-west Victorian home in a suspected arson.

The householder was still at home at the time of the blaze along with his two children, aged five and 16.

All three escaped without injury.

This morning, detectives executed search warrants in Camperdown and Cobden.

A 34-year-old Cobden woman was charged with 15 offences including criminal damage by fire, possessing a drug of dependence, possessing ammunition, and possessing a prohibited weapon.

A 44-year-old Camperdown woman has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, trafficking methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit an offence.

A 34-year-old Camperdown man has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, conspiracy to commit an offence, committing an indictable offence while on bail and trafficking methylamphetamine.

A 50-year-old Camperdown man has been charged with weapon and drug offences.

All four have been remanded to appear at Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
