After a good extended opening weekend, everyone was eager to see how The Paradise would do on its first Monday. Unfortunately, it’s clear that negative reviews have taken a toll on the film. Compared to the opening day, the magnum opus dropped over 80% yesterday, which pretty much seals its fate at the Indian box office. Nonetheless, it pulled off Tollywood’s fourth-biggest first Monday of 2026. Keep reading for a detailed report of day 5!

How much did The Paradise earn at the Indian box office in 5 days?

The Telugu action thriller scored 5 crore on its first Monday, day 5. Ideally, the first Monday collections are compared with the opening day (in the case of a non-holiday), and as per this scenario, the film dropped by a huge 85.57% from day 1’s 34.65 crore (excluding premiere collections). Even if we compare it with Friday, day 2’s 14.9 crore, the film has dropped by 66.44%. With a drop of more than 50% in each case, Nani’s film has clearly failed the Monday test.

Overall, The Paradise has earned 97.1 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 114.59 crore gross. Today, on day 6, it’ll enter the 100 crore club (net), becoming Nani’s first film to do so.
