Formula 1 could return to Africa in 2030 with a race in Rwanda, reported RacingNews365 on Tuesday.
According to the report, an agreement has been reached and could be announced later this year.
The last time an F1 race was held in Africa was in 1993, in South Africa.

Paul Kwame, the Rwandan president, had announced his intention to host a race in his country back in 2024. Rwanda does not currently have a racing circuit capable of hosting a major motorsports event.
However, as per the report, plans are currently underway to build a permanent facility on the outskirts of capital city Kigali.
