Indonesia showcases pharmaceutical products at Oman Health Exhibition

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Embassy in Muscat launched the Indonesian Pavilion at the Oman Health Exhibition (OHE) 2026 to showcase the country's health and pharmaceutical products to the Middle Eastern market.

Indonesian Ambassador to Oman Andi Rahadian expressed hope that the participation of domestic companies would expand the export of Indonesian healthcare products across Oman and the broader region.

"It also increases the opportunities to secure healthcare projects in Oman and attract Omani investments to Indonesia's healthcare services," Rahadian said in a statement released here on Thursday (September 24).

He noted that the exhibition serves as a platform to foster cooperation in technology transfer, human resource development, and the placement of skilled Indonesian medical workers in Oman.

Rahadian also highlighted the potential to attract more Omani tourists to Indonesia for health, medical, and wellness tourism.

"The Indonesian Embassy in Muscat continues to drive economic diplomacy in the health sector through synergy between the government and the private sector,” Rahadian said.

“This aims to further improve market access for Indonesian health products, expand business networks, and create concrete cooperation opportunities between Indonesia, Oman, and other Gulf countries," he added.

Three major Indonesian healthcare institutions - Harapan Kita National Cardiovascular Hospital, Murni Teguh Hospital, and Siloam Hospitals - participated in the exhibition.

They were joined by five health and wellness companies, namely PT Konimex, PT Raksasi Ruri Arimbi, PT Lucas Transmamin Perkasa, PT Yagi Natural Indonesia, and PT Cinta Segara Indonesia.

OHE 2026, the country's largest health expo, was held in Muscat from September 21 to 23.

Oman's Deputy Minister of Health Ahmed bin Salim Al-Mandhari and Ambassador Rahadian officially inaugurated the Indonesian Pavilion, highlighting an initiative that reaffirms Indonesia's commitment to enhancing bilateral partnerships in alignment with the Oman Vision 2040.
