EastEnders star Ronni Ancona has joined the cast of Things You Should Have Done season 3.

The BBC comedy, which is created by and stars comedian, actress and internet personality Lucia Keskin (known online as Chi with a C), follows Chi (Keskin), a recently bereaved "stay-at-home daughter" in Ramsgate.

The upcoming third season, filming on which is now underway, will follow Chi as she continues working her way through the list of 'Things You Should Have Done' left behind by her late parents.

The synopsis teases: "Following a brush with the law, Chi's life takes a series of dramatic turns and a hilarious journey of self-discovery. Meanwhile, loyal Lucas remains by her side, continuing to do the wrong things for the right reasons; Dave becomes preoccupied with the legacy he’ll leave behind; and Ruth is forced to turn her therapeutic expertise inwards when her own life is thrown into turmoil."

Ancona, who played the villain Bea Pollard recently on the BBC One soap, has joined the comedy in a yet-to-be-confirmed role.

The actress first appeared on EastEnders in January, with her character conducting a months-long campaign of terror against Billy and Honey Mitchell, before departing from the Square in July.

She is also known for her appearances in shows such as Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators, Death in Paradise and Last Tango in Halifax.

Keskin will also be joined in season 3 by returning cast members Dan Fearn, who plays Dave, Jamie Bisping, who stars as Lucas, and Bridget Christie, who plays Ruth.

The first season of Things You Should Have Done debuted in 2024 and went on to win a wave of awards, including a BAFTA.

The show’s success has also led to the launch of a YouTube spin-off, titled What Have You Done?, which sees hosts Chi and Lucas invite celebrities for a chat on their pedalo on Ramsgate Boating Lake.
