‘Kpop Demon Hunters’ drops new HUNTR/X dance rehearsal music video

The team behind Kpop Demon Hunters have shared a new animated slip showing HUNTR/X rehearsing a version of viral smash ‘How It’s Done’ – check it out below.

Since it launched on Netflix in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has been streamed more than 325million times at home and has also been screened in cinemas around the world. The show has also inspired immersive gaming experiences, mobile crossover events and bumper art books.

A sequel was confirmed last November. While no release date has been announced, it’s unlikely to be ready before 2030.

But that doesn’t mean the Kpop Demon Hunters team have gone quiet. Last night (October 27) they uploaded a brand new video showing HUNTR/X’s Rumi, Mira, and Zoey rehearsing the official choreography for their viral smash hit ‘How It’s Done’.

In the movie, ‘How It’s Done’ is played near the beginning of the film and soundtracks  HUNTR/X slaying demons on a crumbling airplane, so this is the first time the official choreography has been shared.

Plot details for Kpop Demon Hunters 2 are currently being kept under wraps. “The world [of Kpop Demon Hunters] is so rich – the world of the demons and the pop star [element], what happened to Jinu. There’s so much we could expand into,” said Sony boss Damien de Froberville earlier this year.

We do know that a live-action adaptation of KPop Demon Hunters probably isn’t going to happen though, despite rumours. “There are so many elements of the tone and the comedy that are so suited for animation,” said creator Maggie Kang. “It’s really hard to imagine these characters in a live-action world. It would feel too grounded. So totally it wouldn’t work for me.”

Speaking to NME earlier this year, Kevin Woo (who who played villainous group Saja Boys’ smirking backup vocalist Mystery Saja, said the success of Kpop Demon Hunters has been a “whirlwind”.

“I’ve been in the world of K-pop since the early 2000s and I’m surprised by how far the movie has taken things. It felt like with BLACKPINK, Stray Kids and BTS, we’d reached the [peak] of K-pop’s popularity around the world but Demon Hunters has taken it to a whole other level of exposure. It’s been pretty mind-blowing. “
