Ramayana: Rise Of A Legend Trailer Review: Improved VFX & Powerful Music Make Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram-Yash’s Ravana Clash Look Epic

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One is all set to hit the big screens next month. With just 20 days left for release, the film’s overseas bookings have opened. Ahead of the USA advance bookings, the makers unveiled a new trailer for the film. The latest trailer focuses more on the massive battle between Lord Ram and Ravana.
The newly released trailer gives us a glimpse of the battle that the Ramayana is known for. The makers released the trailer first in English and then in Hindi. It begins by introducing the period as a time when men walked among gods and the world existed in perfect order. The trailer then introduces us to the fierce Ravana, who was born from “fire and fury”. The visuals showcase his strength and show how his belief in and devotion to God made him powerful.
On the other hand, the trailer introduces Lord Ram(Ranbir Kapoor) not as a god, but as a man whom destiny chose to bring hope back to humanity. We see visuals of both Ram and Ravana preparing for what lies ahead in their respective destinies.

The visuals in the trailer of The Ramayana: Rise of a Legend look grand and spectacular. We finally get to see a video asset that justifies the epic’s massive budget. The makers have also improved the VFX by miles compared to the previous trailer. Earlier, critics called out the film’s choppy visuals, but now the same audience seems mighty impressed with the output. The music by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman also proves why the two are called legends in their respective professions.
Ramayana ranks among the most expensive films made in India. The makers plan to release it on a massive global scale, aiming to put Indian cinema on the international platform. The film also centres on India’s most popular mythological story, which promotes the victory of good over evil. The Diwali season offers the perfect time for its release.
Ramayana: Part One, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on November 5, 2026.
