Comedian Alfred Robles Sets Debut Hour Special With Gabriel Iglesias As Executive Producer

EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Alfred Robles has announced that his first hour stand-up special will release on YouTube on October 23rd. He’s also unveiled a trailer, which you can view above.
In the special, taped at the Ontario Improv in Ontario, CA, Robles shares tales of growing up with a strict Latino Catholic mother, navigating the dating world, and life on the road.
The special is exec produced by Gabriel Iglesias, a long-time supporter with whom Robles toured for 13 years. It comes just one month after the Hulu release of his debut half-hour For the Culture, as part of Kevin Hart’s series LOL Live.
Joey von Haeger is the director of the hour, which Robles exec produced alongside Iglesias. Cameron Silzle and Von Haeger acted as its producers.
Originally hailing from East Los Angeles, Robles hit on a big break when he caught the attention of top comic Iglesias, who offered him an opening spot on his tour. After opening shows for Iglesias for years across the country and internationally, he set out on his own tour, which gained steam when clips from his crowd interactions went viral with millions of views on social media.
As an actor, Robles has been seen on Iglesias’ Netflix sitcom Mr. Iglesias. Other credits in stand-up include all three seasons of Stand Up Revolution on Comedy Central and Entre Nos on HBO. Currently on his Vatos with Gatos tour, he has performed at Netflix Is a Joke Fest, Moontower Comedy Festival, and was a featured comedian at Just For Laughs 2026, appearing in both Montreal and Toronto. He is repped by Arsonhouse Entertainment and WME.
