EastEnders airs shocking twist for Nancy Carter return to Walford in early BBC iPlayer release

It's always a momentous occasion on EastEnders when a beloved character returns, and on Monday 5 October, Nancy Carter's (played by Maddy Hill) was nothing short of dramatic.
She wants to get some legal advice from Johnny (Charlie Suff) - and she absolutely isn't interested in seeing Linda (Kellie Bright).
Johnny promised he'd look at her issue, but things went awry when Nancy doubled over in pain, prompting her brother to put her in a cab to Walford General - unfortunately overlooked by Linda's beau, Max (Jake Wood).

Of course, he ran to tell L what he saw, who was quite shocked to hear about Nancy's return - and also that she was on her way to the hospital.
Linda caught up with Nancy at the hospital, along with Elaine (Harriet Thorpe), and was gobsmacked to see she was heavily pregnant.
"Mum, look, it's complicated," Nancy started, while explaining about the baby. "I came to see Johnny, not you. This isn't what you think it is, and I can't deal with you right now."
Before she could explain it further, Nancy kicked Elaine and Linda out.
Nancy made it back to Walford and called a mysterious person on the phone, explaining that she wanted to tell Linda what was happening with this figure.
Nancy arrived with her brother, Lee (Danny Hatchard), who revealed it's his baby...
