BANGKOK — 12 September 2026, A fire broke out at an apartment building in Soi Si Burapha 18 in Bangkok’s Khlong Chan area on Saturday afternoon, with firefighters rushing to contain the blaze.

The Bangkok emergency hotline 199 received a report of the fire at 13:41 at a flat on Soi Si Burapha 18 off Si Burapha Road in Khlong Chan, Bang Kapi district.

Firefighters from the Huamark Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.

Initial reports said flames had erupted from the upper floors of the building, with firefighters using water to bring the blaze under control.

Authorities were working to contain the fire and assess the situation. Further details, including possible injuries or the cause of the fire, were not immediately available.
