Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini hopes Manu Koné will be fit again before the next international break after suffering a first-degree muscle injury, while Paulo Dybala could be back next week.
Roma stars Dybala and Koné suffered injuries during the Giallorossi’s 4-3 loss against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Both players will miss tomorrow’s home Serie A match against Genoa.
“Koné underwent an MRI scan and has a first-degree injury. It is not particularly serious, but he needs the necessary recovery time,” Gasperini said at a pre-match press conference on Friday via Sky Sport.
“We hope to have him back for the Sassuolo match before the international break.
“There are no particular concerns regarding Dybala,” Gasp continued.

“He has some fatigue in his calf muscle, and we hope to have him back next week.”
Roma will be without five regular starters for their next Serie A game as Mile Svilar, Bryan Cristante and Donyell Malen will also be ruled out.

Svilar will remain out of action for about a month with a fractured finger in his foot; Cristante is expected to return against Slovan Bratislava next week, while Malen will serve a one-game ban after receiving a straight red card against Como in the previous Serie A round.
