EastEnders' Craig Ingram makes shocking new move in early iPlayer release

EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (2 November), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Craig Ingram has made a shocking new move as his escape from Walford with Amy Mitchell takes another disturbing turn. Teenager Amy is currently being groomed by former police officer Craig, and in recent episodes the pair fled the Square after Amy got access to her inheritance money early thanks to Max.
With Amy’s phone and Craig’s car found abandoned, Jack was desperately running out of options. But then he spotted returning Sean, who once saw Amy as a daughter, and he agreed to help bring her home.

In today’s episode, Craig and Amy waited in their temporary bedsit, and Amy apologised for trying to call her dad. Craig explained that his friend has a place in France where they can stay, and he was waiting to hear back about making a bank transfer.
Meanwhile, Jack and Sean returned to the Square after searching for Amy all night. Sean then reunited with his niece Lily, saying that he was here for Zoe’s funeral on Stacey’s behalf, but flight delays meant he didn’t make it.
Jack and Sean reported back to the family, but Callum arrived and told them off for going rogue and carrying out an unofficial investigation. Jack was forced to admit that Amy got her £100,000 of inheritance money early after Max signed it off – which was news to Sean.
Max was summoned, where he explained to Sean that he had a plan to stop Amy and Craig, but things went wrong and they fled. Sean was furious and confronted Max about his wrongdoing over decades, convinced that he was hiding something.
In The Vic, Sean was comforted by his mum Jean, who said he should save himself the pain with getting involved with Amy’s disappearance.

But Sean emotionally reflected on how happy he was when Amy was born and said he was desperate to make good on the promise he made to Roxy that he would look after her daughter.
Lily then arrived with Charli’s tablet, showing Sean and Jean that Amy had used the device to open a bank account. Sean and Jack brought this evidence to the station, but they were then told to let the police do their jobs.
That evening, Sean thanked Lily for her support, but when Lily remarked how worried Amy is about Denise, Sean was left with food for thought.

Elsewhere, Craig told Amy that they were leaving for France tonight. However, Craig realised that the bank account had been suspended – and as he raged at Amy for not hiding the money, he hit her.
Will Amy realise that she is in danger with Craig?
