Frosinone set asking price for Roma target Kvernadze

Frosinone want at least €25m for Giorgi Kvernadze, and have no intention of letting him go in January, despite rumours linking him with a move to Roma.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Calciomercato.it, that is the figure the Ciociari have placed on the winger, whose contract runs to June 2028. The length of that deal gives them the leverage to hold out, and the club’s position is that a sale before the summer is unlikely regardless of who comes calling.
D’Amico wants a winger of Kvernadze’s profile at Roma
Roma are prepared to push anyway. Sporting director Tony D’Amico has been looking specifically for a wide forward with Kvernadze’s characteristics and is expected to test Frosinone’s resolve in the coming weeks.
The price reflects how quickly his stock has risen. Born in Samtredia in 2003, Kvernadze has five goals and two assists in six appearances across Serie A and the Coppa Italia, a return that has made him one of the division’s most productive wingers in the opening weeks of the season.
Whether Roma can find €25m in the middle of the season is another matter, particularly for a player Frosinone would rather keep while they establish themselves back in the top flight.
