Olivia Rodrigo fans are getting an early Christmas present this year, with the pop star gifting them her first-ever holiday song in just a few days.

As revealed on Monday (Nov. 2), Rodrigo will release “Take Me Home (4 Christmas)” at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday (Nov. 5). The Grammy winner shared the news on Instagram, premiering the single’s artwork: a photo of Rodrigo sitting on the floor in a red Santa hat and matching lipstick.

“my first Christmas song “take me home (4 christmas)” is out this Thursday at 5 pm pt/ 8 pm ET!! you can preorder it now. im so excited!!!” she wrote in the caption.

The offering comes after an already packed year for Rodrigo, who dropped her third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love in June. The project spawned Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single “Drop Dead” and has spent three weeks total atop the Billboard 200.

In August, the former Disney star successfully launched her Daisy Chain Fields festival, raising $20 million for women’s charities before embarking on her Unraveled arena tour the following month. She then enlisted longtime pal Chappell Roan for a surprise remix of “Expectations” in October propelling the song to No. 3 on the Hot 100.

Now, as the calendar switches from Halloween season to November, Rodrigo is throwing her hat into the holiday song market, which is dominated each year by Mariah Carey’s perennial smash “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” (The Songbird Supreme gave her annual “It’s time!” announcement on the first day of the month.) The “Drivers License” artist is far from the only star unwrapping fresh X-mas music this year, with Hilary Duff recently dropping a holiday EP and Alanis Morissette gearing up to release holiday LP Good Weather for Immaculate Conception.
