Comedians Leslie Liao & Jason Cheny Team With All Things Comedy On ‘Happy Fun Times’ Podcast

EXCLUSIVE: Comedians Leslie Liao and Jason Cheny have teamed with All Things Comedy on Happy Fun Times with Leslie Liao and Jason Cheny, a new podcast that will release weekly on Tuesdays, everywhere podcasts are found, beginning September 29.

On the pod, Liao and Cheny come together — sometimes joined by their funniest friends — to debate the chaos of modern social behavior, how to be slightly better humans, and the art of being a tolerable person. All while having a happy fun time.

Explaining the origins of the pod, Liao and Cheny said, “We love and respect each other as friends and colleagues, but sometimes vehemently disagree on everyday issues to an unhealthy degree. Each episode, we will start by sharing small moments of joy, until we inevitably unravel into judgment and criticism. If you like to laugh and unpack everyday topics, this podcast is for you.”

A Taiwanese American stand-up, actress, and writer based in Los Angeles, Liao can be seen in Netflix’s multi-comic series Verified Stand-Up and has performed twice on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Named a Just for Laughs New Face in 2023, she is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and UTA.

Also a Taiwanese American stand-up based in L.A., Cheny has a Hulu half-hour, produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat, coming up for release in January 2027 as part of their series LOL Live. He is repped by WME.

Active in comedy across film, television, stand-up specials and podcasts, All Things Comedy’s podcast network is home to dozens of shows, including Monday Morning Podcast with Bill Burr, The Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds, TigerBelly with Bobby Lee and Khalyla Kuhn, and Rick Glassman’s Take Your Shoes Off.
