Liam Rosenior sparked a touchline melee by celebrating in front of fans of former club Strasbourg after defeating it with Paris FC.
Rosenior had earned the ire of Strasbourg fans after suddenly departing to join Chelsea for an ill-fated stint in January last year. The fans made their disapproval known on Saturday, and the stadium announcer was forced to visiting Strasbourg fans to stop aggressive chanting about Rosenior.

After the match, Rosenior incensed them again by patting his chest and then spreading his arms out as he celebrated the victory. Some pushing and shoving then followed between both sets of players.
“A small section of the fans, and I want to stress that it was only a small section, because Strasbourg is a fantastic club, were disrespectful,” Rosenior said. “They insulted my family. My bench was very angry. So, for me, celebrating like that was obviously sending a message. I won’t say anything more about this.”
Paris FC remains unbeaten after five games this season.
