WEATHER: Cloudy skies and strong winds expected across parts of SA

Here is what the weather has in store for KZN, Free State and North West on Saturday 29 August 2026.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog patches will develop over the interior, while most areas will experience fine, cool to warm conditions.

The northeast will see partly cloudy skies. Along the coast, moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly winds will blow, becoming strong south of Richards Bay in the afternoon.

Temperatures will range from a minimum of 10°C to a maximum of 24°C.

North West is going to be fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

MAHIKENG

Mahikeng is going to be partly cloudy.

Temperatures will range from a minimum of 9°C. to a maximum of 26°C.
