Range Media Partners has signed Corey Hawkins for representation, Variety can exclusively reveal. Hawkins continues to be represented by WME, JTWAMM and Shelter PR.

Hawkins, a graduate of the Juilliard School’s drama program, got his break starring as Dr. Dre in F. Gary Gray’s 2015 NWA biopic “Straight Outta Compton.” Some of Hawkins’ other early films include “Kong: Skull Island,” “BlacKkKlansman” and “Georgetown.”

His latest work was playing the villainous suitor Polybus, who serves as the right hand to Robert Pattinson’s leading antagonist, Antinous, in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”. Hawkins also recently appeared in “Crime 101” alongside Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Barry Keoghan for Amazon MGM. His other recent big-screen credits include “The Man in My Basement,” “The Piano Lesson,” “The Tragedy of Macbeth” and “The Color Purple.”

On the TV side, Hawkins made his debut in the sci-fi anthology series “Futurestates” in 2011 before appearing in “Royal Pains,” “Golden Boy,” “The Walking Dead,” “Placeholders” and “Poker Face.” In 2016, he led the cast of Fox’s “24” reboot, “24: Legacy.”

On the stage, Hawkins received a Tony nomination for best performance by an actor in a leading role for playing Lincoln in Suzan-Lori Parks’ “Topdog/Underdog,” which took home the Tony for best revival of a play in 2023. He also starred as Tybalt in David Leveaux’s 2013 Broadway revival of “Romeo and Juliet” alongside Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad.

Hawkins’ upcoming projects include the drama-thriller “Nightwatching,” based on Tracy Sierra’s debut novel. Directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, the film also stars Mila Kunis, Clancy Brown, Mark Webber and Aaron Moten.
