Espinoza Paz Reclaims No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay With La Fiera de Ojinaga Collab ‘Yo No Dije’

Espinoza Paz is back at No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart for the first time in seven years as “Yo No Dije,” his collab with La Fiera de Ojinaga, rises 2-1 on the Sept. 26-dated ranking. It’s Paz’s first No. 1 since 2019. La Fiera de Ojinaga led the list last November.

“Super happy to have arrived at No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart with my friends, La Fiera de Ojinaga,” Paz tells Billboard. “I wrote ‘Yo No Dije’ from the heart and it makes me happy that the audience liked it.”

The song leads after an 11% gain in audience impressions, drawing 6.4 million in the United States during the Sept. 11-17 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The move gives Paz his first chart-topper since 2019. In the seven-year gap, he logged five entries (among 26 career total), with “Vanidosa,” alongside La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho, going the highest — nearly missing the top 10, reaching No. 11 in April 2020.

With “Yo No Dije,” La Fiera de Ojinaga adds its sixth No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay. Prior, the group landed in the chart’s penthouse through “Selfie,” a one-week ruler last November.

Elsewhere, “Yo No Dije” pounces to No. 2 on the overall Latin Airplay chart, marking Paz’s highest position since the No. 1-peaking “Lo Intentamos” in 2003. It’s a career milestone for La Ojinaga, becoming the group’s highest rank among nine top 10s.
