Chattogram Division returned to the top of the NCL points table after their innings and one-run win against Barishal Division.

Sadikur Rahman was named the player-of-the-match after his career-best 149 in Chattogram's total of 576 all out. Shahadat Hossain and captain Irfan Shukkur also made centuries. Shahadat's 109 included five sixes and three fours, while Shukkur made 112 as the first Chattogram captain-wicketkeeper to score a century.

Barishal, who made 282 in their first innings, were then bowled out for 293 runs, falling just one run short of making Chattogram bat again. Ashraful Hasan Rohan took five wickets in the Barishal second innings, while left-arm spinner Hasan Murad's six wickets in the match took his first-class tally to 200 scalps.

Rajshahi Division thwarted Khulna Division with a defiant draw in Dhaka.

Batting first, Rajshahi made 119 on the first day, with Mahedi Hasan taking 6 for 38, his tenth five-wicket haul. Mahedi followed it up with a century, his seventh in first-class cricket, to help Khulna to 484 all out.

Habibur Rahman Sohan then gave Rajshahi a fast start with his 90 off 83 balls, which included eight sixes. He put on 126 runs for the opening stand with Sabbir Hossain, who made 88. Nayeem Ahmed, at No 3, also made a half-century, before Sabbir Rahman took over.

The veteran Rajshahi batter hung around for more than five hours to score a first-class century in the NCL after 14 years. He made 113 with eight boundaries, as Rajshahi declared on 500 for 9 late on the fourth day.

Both matches in Sylhet were drawn too. At the academy ground, Mymensingh Division drew their game with defending champions Rangpur Division.

Mim Mosaddek's maiden first-class century helped Rangpur to 422 for nine declared. Mim struck 23 fours in his 157. Mymensingh responded with 295 all out, before Rangpur made 245 for 6 declared. Requiring 373 runs in their fourth innings, Mymensingh batted cautiously in their 64 remaining overs, making 189 for 4.

At the adjacent international stadium in Sylhet, Dhaka Division and the home side Sylhet Division also played out a high-scoring draw.

Marshall Ayub's 175 was one of three centuries as Dhaka declared on 547 for six. It was Marshall's 30th first-class century, as he struck 19 fours and a six in his 240-ball stay. Mohammad Naim struck 11 fours and three sixes in his 137, while captain Mahidul Islam Ankon contributed 108 off 140 balls.

The 22-year-old Ashraful Hasan Rihad struck his maiden first-class century, when he made 122 for Sylhet, who were bowled out for 496 runs in reply.

Dhaka captain Ankon used all 11 bowlers. fLegspinner Aminul Islam took a five-wicket haul.

Dhaka replied with two ducks from their openers Naim and Jishan Alam, before the 20-year-old Ashiqur Rahman Shibli made his fourth first-class century. Dhaka declared on 219 for 6, with Sylhet losing a wicket in the two overs they batted in the end.
