Latin Grammy Nominations 2026: Karol G, Rosalia, Jorge Drexler, Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso Lead with 7

The nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards are here, and it’s a four way tie for the lead among artists as Karol G, Rosalia, Jorge Drexler and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso all earned seven.

All four acts received nominations in the major three record of the year, album of the year and song of the year categories. Karol G, who made history earlier this year as the first Latina artist to headline Coachella, is up for record and song of the year with “Coleccionando Heridas,” while she’s up for album of the year with Tropicoqueta. Rosalia’s “La Perla” is up for record and song, while her lauded Lux is up for album.

When including non-performing producers and songwriters, perennial hitmaker Edgar Barrera was the top nominee overall with 10.

Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, who earned 10 nominations heading into last year’s awards, are up for album of the year with Free Spirts, record of the year for “Ha Ha” and song of the year with “Hasta Jesus Tuvo Un Mal Dia. Jorge Drexler, the 16-time Latin Grammy winner, is up for album of the year with Taracá, record and sonf of the year for “¿Cómo se ama?”

Outside of the top four, the rest of this year’s album of the year race includes Anitta’s Equilibrium, Silvana Estrada’s Vendrán Suaves Lluvias, Mon Laferte’s Femme Fatale, Carin Leon’s Muda, Milo J’s La Vida Era Más Corta and Rawayana’s ¿Dónde Es El After?

In the record of the year race, the rest of the field is Estrada’s “Dime” Loulu Gilberto’s “O Amor Nos Encontrou, Laferte’s “Femme Fatale,” “Desde Que Te Tengo,” Milo’s “Niño” and Elena Rose’s “Alma.” For song of the year, the other nominees are “Dime,” “Femme Fatale,” Juanes and Vivir Quintana’s “Humano,” Santana and Becky G’s “Mi Gran Amor,” Zanna’s Nilo” and Milo’s “Solifican12.”

Rounding out the general categories, this year’s best new artist class is made up of Delilah, Fabian, Loulu Gilberto, Arath Herce, Macario Martínez, maye, Sofia Monroy, Kendall Peña, Dora Sanches, Aria Vega and Zeca Veloso.

Below the four leading artists, Estrada and Laferte both earned six nominations, while Milo J got five.

With the nominees announced, voting will begin on October 1. The awards themselves will take place at the MGM Garden Grand Garden Arena on November 12, airing on Univision.
