Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest shifted its buying toward aerospace, defense, robotics, and autonomous technologies during last week, while trimming holdings in semiconductor and healthcare stocks. The firm also made selective moves across AI and crypto-related investments.

The portfolio bought 74.69K shares of Teradyne (TER) worth $23.3M, as the chip-testing equipment maker reported a 70% Y/Y jump in Q3 revenue, driven by strong AI-related demand.

Ark purchased 150.9K shares, valued at $19.2M, of AeroVironment (AVAV), which reported a 37% growth in funded backlog, reflecting continued demand for its defense and autonomous systems.

The portfolio manager continued buying $13.6M of Circle Internet Group (CRCL), $11.2M of Joby Aviation (JOBY), $11M of Archer Aviation (ACHR), $10.3M of Robinhood Markets (HOOD), $10.2M of Illumina (ILMN), and $10M of Cerebras Systems (CBRS) across its actively managed funds. It also added $5.7M of Coinbase Global (COIN).

Besides, Ark bought ~$8.2M of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) and about $1.7M in Kodiak AI (KDK).

In healthcare and biotechnology, Ark added $11.1M of Tempus AI (TEM), $4M of Beam Therapeutics (BEAM) and made smaller additions to Pacific Biosciences (PACB), Arcturus Therapeutics (ARCT), and Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA).

On the selling side, Ark offloaded over 59K shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) worth $32.6M and over 56K shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) worth $24.6M. The sales came after substantial share-price gains: AMD (AMD) is up about 162% so far in 2026. AMD also recently said it would invest $1B in Meta's (META) equity offering. While TSMC (TSM) has gained more than 75% since Ark’s previous purchase in July.

Ark’s sales also coincided with a shift toward aerospace and air-taxi stocks. It sold $25M of Eli Lilly (LLY), despite 39% Q3 revenue growth and a higher FY sales outlook; the drugmaker lowered its adjusted EPS outlook, partly due to acquisition-related charges. The manager had last purchased Eli Lilly (LLY) in June 2026.

Ark also sold $17M of the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) and $7.3M of Twist Bioscience (TWST). Other reductions included $5.8M of Bullish (BLSH), $5.1M of Tempus AI (TEM), $4.6M of 10x Genomics (TXG), and $4.4M of CareDx (CDNA).

Smaller reductions were also seen in CrowdStrike (CRWD), Cloudflare (NET), Rubrik (RBRK), and Absci (ABSI).
