All the Celebrity Couples Turning Emmys 2026 Into Date Night

Even the biggest cynics couldn’t hack away the love between these pairs.
At the Emmys 2026, where Hacks, The Pitt and Widow’s Bay lead nominations, couples are continuing with a long-standing tradition of turning TV’s biggest night into a love fest on the red carpet.
While they were both also nominated for Emmys, Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell proved they keep winning when they put their love on display on the red carpet Sept. 14 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. (For every star on the Emmys 2026 red carpet, coupled-up or not, see here.)
Meanwhile, Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin—who share two kids together—might have playfully confirmed they are not yet married at a pre-Emmys festivity, but they still proved their love knows no bounds while making a super sweet appearance on the red carpet.
And though Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series winner Noah Wyle and his wife Sara Wells opted not to walk the carpet together this year, they’re on the same team in more ways than one when Wells scrubbed in for a special appearance in the latest season of The Pitt, which leads with 25 nominations.
And naturally, Wyle supported her every step of the way.
“He said, ‘Just go have fun,'" Wells—who played patient Ashley Davis in season two—told USA Today in an April 2026 interview. “He could tell I was a bit nervous because this is his sandbox. I wanted to make sure I honored the show and brought my A-game.”
Meanwhile, Steve Carell and Nancy Carell—who tied the knot in 1995—also opted to keep their romance away from the Emmys 2026, but Carell has already credited her with his skills in landing his 12th Emmy nomination for The Rooster.
“We read scripts together, and after 30 years of marriage, we know each other pretty well," Carell—dad to two children with his wife—told L'Officiel in an interview published in March. "We really do finish each other’s sentences, but people who know us know that she’s way funnier than I am. She’s just a super-talented and smart person. And, you know, she’s a babe.”

While this year’s couples are especially sweet, the Emmys red carpet has always been a place where couples can put their romance on display, especially for couples who mix business and pleasure. In 2025, Leslie Bibb—who is up for Outstanding Guest Actress this year for her Hacks appearance—shared how her and longtime partner Sam Rockwell’s roles in The White Lotus season two strengthened their bond.
“It was really nice to be able to have this very important experience in my life and he understands it in a very deep way,” Bibb told E! News on the carpet last year. “If I make a reference to something, he knows what I'm talking about."
As she put it, “I didn't understand how much I would appreciate it.”
