WEATHER: Isolated showers and rain set to hit ONE province

Here is what the weather has in store for KZN, Free State and North West on Tuesday 18 August 2026.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning and evening fog patches will occur, otherwise expect partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions.

Cloud cover will increase from late afternoon, bringing isolated evening showers and rain to the south-east.

Along the coast, light to moderate northerly to north-easterly winds will become moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly winds from mid-morning in the south, spreading northwards later in the morning.

DURBAN

Durban is going to be partly cloudy with isolated evening showers and rain.

Mahikeng is going to be fine.

Temperatures will range from a minimum of 7°C. to a maximum of 29°C.
