Nigeria’s Flamingos will begin their 2026 WAFU B U-17 Girls Championship campaign against arch-rivals Ghana’s Black Maidens on Wednesday, September 16.
The Group B clash is scheduled to take place at the CKB Stadium in Côte d’Ivoire.
The encounter will be a repeat of the 2024 final, when Ghana defeated Nigeria on penalties after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time in the inaugural edition of the competition.
The Flamingos have been drawn in Group B alongside Ghana, Togo and Niger Republic, with the teams battling for a place in the next round.
