Coronation Street airs dark Ross and Tyrone scenes in early ITVX episode

Coronation Street spoilers follow from Monday's episode (26 October), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.
Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs punches Chesney Winter-Brown tonight in a bid to impress his dad Ross Wilkes. Though nasty Ross commends the violent outburst, the rest of Tyrone's family are horrified.
The episode begins with Ross at the Dobbs' house, where he has firmly got his feet under the table. When Tyrone notices a bruise on Dorin's arm, the youngster tells him that Chesney's son Aled punched him.

Fiz resolves to have a word with her brother about the kids, but Ross isn't impressed. He goads Tyrone into confronting the Winter-Browns, implying once again that he's a pushover.
After hearing what happened, Gemma and Chesney apologise for Aled's behaviour but brush it off as children playing. Irritated, Tyrone tells them Dorin won't be attending the quads' birthday party, before Ross arrives at the house.
Ross isn't pleased by Tyrone's attempt at laying down the law and continues to rile everyone up. When Chesney reminds Tyrone how he walked out on Fiz and the girls, Ross pushes his son to violence.
"Are you gonna stand for that?" he asks, prompting Tyrone to round on his brother-in-law.
In a completely out-of-character move, Tyrone punches Chesney, before furious Gemma kicks him and Ross out. Back at home, Tyrone instantly regrets his actions, but Ross assures him he did the right thing.
Their conversation is interrupted by Fiz, who is disgusted to learn that her husband had hit her little brother. Tyrone shows remorse and Fiz realises Ross had egged him on.

Gemma and Chesney relay the incident to Fiz, telling her it was like Tyrone was "pretending" in front of his dad. Fiz agrees that the kids were probably play fighting and that it shouldn't have escalated the way it did.
"You know, it weren't Ross' fault. It was Tyrone's, a thousand percent. And you can tell him from me, I won't be forgetting this in a hurry," Chesney tells Fiz, adding: "He doesn't really feel like family anymore."
Later, Ross gives Tyrone another pep talk at the pub, telling him he was in the right. Fiz walks in to see them clink their glasses in celebration and immediately storms out.
When Tyrone tries to go after her, he is stopped by Ross who instructs him not to let anyone tell him what to do. How far will Tyrone go to gain his dad's approval?
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
