Shree Charani stays No. 1 T20I bowler, breaks all-time record for rating points

Shree Charani has retained her spot as the No. 1 women's T20I bowler in the latest ICC rankings, and also set a new record for the highest-ever career rating points for a bowler.
The India left-arm spinner has been on a prolific run in the past month, winning both the T20 Asia Cup and the Asian Games gold medal, taking 20 wickets in eight innings at an average of 4.85 and an economy rate of 3.3. This includes two four-fors, including her career-best figures of 4 for 10 against Japan in the Asian Games quarter-final.
She hit a peak of 817 career rating points, ahead of the previous best mark of 806 set by Australia's Megan Schutt in November 2018.
India allrounder Deepti Sharma also solidified her second spot in the women's T20I bowling rankings, followed by England's Sophie Ecclestone in third. Meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana moved back into the top five of the T20I batting rankings after her crucial 79 in the Asian Games final against Sri Lanka.
Hayley Matthews' knock of 182 in the opener of the ODI series between Zimbabwe and West Indies, currently tied at 1-1, helped her rise three places to fourth in the one-day batting rankings. She has also stayed on top of the T20I allrounder rankings.
Zimbabwe's Nyasha Gwanzura took a career-best four-for to win them the second ODI of the same series, and rose 52 places to sit on No. 156 in the ODI bowling rankings, while her team-mate Modester Mupachikwa moved up 16 places to a career-best No. 40 in the batting rankings.
