Police detain CJP's Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and Ajinkya Shinde as they attempt to breach Jantar Mantar

In a post on 'X', Abhijeet Dipke also claimed that party members carrying the national flag sneaked into Jantar Mantar before being detained by Delhi Police.

NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) chief spokesperson Saurav Das and national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka were detained by Delhi Police on Tuesday.According to sources quoted by news agency PTI, Das and Ranka were detained while trying to reach Jantar Mantar.“Jantar Mantar has been reclaimed! we have entered Jantar Mantar and now we are being detained! but this is a message to all of us young gen! we can do it! gyanu, you’re done bro,” Das said in a social media post.

In a post on 'X', CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke also claimed that party members carrying the national flag sneaked into Jantar Mantar before being detained by Delhi Police.“You cannot denotify the resistance, Narendra Modi,” Dipke said in the post.

Dipke on the INDIA bloc's protest told news agency PTI, "Narendra Modi's fear is evident from the fact that he has removed Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site. He thinks protests will stop if Jantar Mantar is no longer a designated protest site, but that is not going to happen. Jantar Mantars will now emerge across the country."Narendra Modi's problem is not with Jantar Mantar as a location, but with protests. We must understand this," he added further.
