EastEnders favourite Heather Peace shares stunning new look after cancer journey

EastEnders favourite Heather Peace has shared her stunning new look after going through chemotherapy to deal with her cancer.
The actor, who plays Eve Panesar-Unwin on the BBC soap, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024 and had to wear a wig in scenes for a while, before going back to her own hair.
But after rocking a pixie cut for ages, Peace shared an Instagram video of herself getting a new hairstyle from her friend and stylist Morgan Rhodes, one she intends to sport at least until March, as she's got a "lot" of filming coming up.

In the video, the duo discussed what kind of look she should go for, with Peace stating that a lot of people have told her lately that they think she really suits a fringe.
We then got a fast-forward of the stylist at work, before unveiling the finished product.
In the caption, she wrote: "It's been 14 months since my wonderful friend & hair stylist @m0rganrhodes first cut my disastrous chemo hair into the shortest of pixie crops.
"Here we are now with what looks like a mop on my head, ready to cut my hair into something that may stay for a while and isn't an 'interim' cut."

"What a road it’s been; slowly getting back to feeling confident in my skin again," she added.
"Thanks so much Morgan for your time & care on this road. You are an artist in your field. You’ve given me so much strength at times when I felt very broken and small. Feeling very lucky & blessed."
Her on-screen wife Balvinder Sopal commented with love heart emoji, while Zoe Slater actor Michelle Ryan wrote "Gorgeous" and Ash Panesar actor Gurlaine Kaur Sidhu wrote "YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL".
Fans also praised the look, enjoying her "messy" 'do and comparing her to Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
